Overview of hospital handrails corridors requirements

In order to reduce or avoid the risk of injury to people with mobility impairments, such as the elderly, patients with foot injuries and weakened patients, pregnant women, children, etc., the anti-collision handrail has become a necessary measure for hospital corridors, and with the beautiful designing appearance, the hospital handrails have both practical and decorative functions.
Hospital handrails corridors requirements 

1. Hospital handrail height: according to the ergonomics and the actual situation of the patient, the installation height is the most reasonable at the upper edge 850-900mm.
2. Wall requirements: The installation site of the handrail requires the wall to be straight, In order to ensure the perfect effect of the overall installation, the deviation of the wall is 2m and the error shall not exceed 3mm.The wall should be solid and strong. If the wall is of hollow brick calcium carbonate structure, it will be necessary to reinforce the handrails at the fixing points. Hospital handrails can also be installed on walls with a certain curvature.
3. Raw material standard: 
1) Aluminum retainer: meets the GB/T1322-0981-221 high-precision standard. After testing, the hardness, acid resistance, alkali resistance and transverse impact strength of tempered aluminum are more than 5 times that of ordinary aluminum alloy keels.
2) Faceplate: using high-quality pure imported vinyl acrylate, high purity, strong flexibility, tough and smooth texture, can withstand more than 5 times the impact of the object. Not affected by weather, deformation, cracking, alkali resistance, dampness, mildew, durable.
3) Angle head: made of ABS raw material for injection molding, and the overall structure is very strong. One end of the elbow is connected to the aluminum alloy keel, and the other end is attached to the wall, so that the armrest and the wall have a close fit.
4) PPS support frame: PPS has strong hardness and is not fragile. It is the best material to connect the wall and the aluminum alloy keel, and it will not break when encountering a large impact.
4. Antimicrobial: The panel material needs to be tested in accordance with ASTM G21 standards. After 28 days of culture at 28°C, there is no mold growth on the surface to achieve a sterile space. The contractor must also attach a test report for inspection before construction.
5. Flame resistance: The panel must pass the CNS 6485 flame resistance test, and it can be naturally extinguished within 5 seconds after the fire source is removed. The contractor must submit a test report for inspection before construction.
6. Abrasive resistance: The panel material needs to be tested according to ASTM D4060 standard, and it shall not exceed 0.25g after the test.
7. Resistance to soiling: The panel material needs to pass the test according to ASTM D1308 standard, and it can be wiped clean with water for common weak acid or weak alkali pollution.
